March 27, 2008 - Install Alternator

 I finally got to do something with my B&C 40Amp alternator that has been sitting in a box for a year or two. 

It came with brackets that bolted perfectly to the TMX-360 engine.  The only issue was the belt.  To get in its proper place, I had to remove the starter -- the engine came with it installed.  To remove the starter I had to remove the alternator. 

So I put the belt in place, then put the starter back on, then finally put the alternator on.
